Volume 2 · Chapter 12
Immersion Launch
Build a repeatable loop for listening, reading, and speaking.
The exit goal is this: enough pattern-rich input plus easy reuse.
Immersion is not passive watching. The loop is:
- Listen to short native material.
- Pull 5 useful sentences.
- Save sentence, meaning, and one audio anchor.
- Shadow each sentence 3 times.
- Reuse one sentence in one real situation.
What to mine
Choose material you can rephrase and reuse:
- Transit signs and public announcements
- Shop conversations
- Reception desk explanations
- Short YouTube dialogue around your current topics
Skip long speeches with low context until your base is stronger.
Minimum metadata for each sentence
- Japanese
- exact sentence
- Meaning
- one clear English meaning
- Audio
- native clip or generated audio
- Use note
- when to say it
Reuse patterns
Every saved sentence should generate at least one variation:
- 原文
- これ、どういう意味ですか。
- 置換1
- あれ、どういう意味ですか。
- 置換2
- これはどういう意味ですか。
- 置換3
- もう少し自然な言い方はありますか。
